Poshmark put out its 2026 Holiday Listing Guide last week and the main ask is pretty simple: get your holiday inventory listed by October 31. That’s this Saturday. So if you’ve got a pile of sweaters and boots sitting in a bin, this is the week.
Here’s what the guide says, plus how I’d get it all done without spending every night in the app.
List by October 31
Poshmark’s words: get your holiday inventory “listed by October 31 so shoppers can start discovering your finds as the season kicks off.” Shoppers are already looking for gifts and seasonal stuff, so the earlier your listings are up, the longer they get seen.
What Poshmark says shoppers want
The guide has a gift guide and a trending section. A few highlights:
- Trending categories: dresses and skirts, outerwear, sweaters, boots, and cold weather accessories
- Cozy gifts: scarves, mittens, beanies, cashmere and wool sweaters, shearling lined jackets, vests and boots
- Gifts for home: silver and brass candlesticks, coffee table books, vintage crystal, vintage records, art and vintage serveware
- Jewelry and accessories: cocktail rings, vintage necklaces, statement earrings, brooches, vintage scarves and evening clutches
- Collectible and luxe bags and jewelry: Poshmark calls out Louis Vuitton, YSL, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Dior and Cartier
Trending brands on the list include Reformation, Dôen, Sorel, Ralph Lauren, Levis, Carhartt, Ugg, Vuori, Alo and Patagonia. If you have any of that, list it first.
Make the listings gift ready
Poshmark’s tips here are the basics, but they’re worth a quick pass on your closet:
- Keep titles clear with the item type, brand and a key detail
- Add size, material, condition and measurements, plus styling or gift ideas
- Use keywords like “holiday party” or “winter wardrobe” when they actually fit
- Refresh photos so they show the front, back, side, tags and any wear

Shipping deadline
Poshmark lists Thursday, Dec. 17 as the holiday shipping deadline for USPS Ground Advantage. A couple of shipping tips from the guide:
- Stock up on packaging, or request free USPS Ground Advantage boxes and mailers through Poshmark
- Weigh your packed order and upgrade your label before shipping if it’s over 5 lbs
- Take old labels and markings off reused boxes
Get it listed and shared without living in the app
