No matter what online marketplace you are willing to sell on there are a few requirements that you need to fulfill to become a seller. One such requirement is having a valid payment deposit/withdrawal method that you can use to pay money for the service or withdraw your funds.
PayPal is one online payment method that is accepted worldwide by most marketplaces because it’s trusted and secure. Even Depop accepts PayPal as their default payment method for sellers but what if one doesn’t have a PayPal?
Well, in this guide, we’ll try to figure out how to sell on Depop without PayPal. So, without any further wait, let’s start!
Can I Sell on Depop without PayPal?
Well, you can’t simply say YES or NO because it depends on where you are located.
If you are either in the US or UK then you can sell on Depop without PayPal. Sellers in the US or UK have to sign up to Depop Payments to sell and receive their funds.
On the other hand, sellers outside the US and UK must connect a PayPal account to sell on Depop. For international sellers, PayPal is currently the only available payment method to pay or withdraw their money.
Australian sellers have more flexibility. They can connect a PayPal account to list and sell, while also having the option to use Depop Payments as an additional payment method.

What If I’m Located Outside the US/UK and Don’t Have PayPal?
If you are located outside the US or UK and don’t have a PayPal account then unfortunately you can’t sell on the marketplace.
Not only you need a valid and verified PayPal account but your account also doesn’t have to be limited.
However, if you are under 18 and can’t have a PayPal account of your own, you can use your parent or guardian’s PayPal account after getting their permission.
